{UAH} Amin Days: Indeed Ugandans Were Doing Fine
The documentary below is probably the fairest a western journalist can
report positively about Amins Uganda where, besides those complaining
about sugar and salt, Ugandans were actually doing fine...even after
being left to their own economic destiny. In fact the reporter is
surprised at finding normal life, stocked shops and a buzzing city
going on perfectly in Uganda at the time.
I like where Amin finds some clean underwear for the Gwokto's,
Kadamieri's, Nekyons and Joseph Kamugisha who say they lacked toilet
paper/essentials those days.
