{UAH} Asia} Campaign coded:" HIV IS GOING TO LOSE" SILIMU AJAGENDA
Sister Asia,
Thanks for sharing! Of course, "silimu" will "lose", and we are proud of every organisation or individuals doing everything possible in the fight against HIV/ AIDS. To be honest, I think we now have a greater threat than HIV, which is cancer. It is more deadly, it kills faster, and unfortunately our govt isn't paying much attention to it.

Dear friends, We know HIV is going to lose because people like you and organizations like people in need agency are working hard to raise awareness about the presence of HIV in Uganda.
We all know that despite Uganda's tremendous achievements in the fight against HIV, it also continues to be a place where adults and children bear the largest burden of new HIV Infections especially in the central region. For example in Wakiso district, on average, 40 pregnant women test HIV positive per week. Infarct, there is week when Wakiso district registered 207 HIV positive women. This is so worrying if we are talking about zero new infections in Uganda (UNAIDS newsletter, August 2014). PINA Uganda, a young positives non- governmental organization committed to stepping up the pace against HIV/AIDS by reminding Ugandans about the presence of HIV through interactive education sessions, experience sharing/story telling, music, dance and drama. But we also know that there's so much more we can get done if we work together.
Ending HIV can only be achieved through renewed and sustained shared responsibility and solidarity and this where PINA Uganda's Campaign coded: "HIV IS GOING TO LOSE OR SILIMU AJAGENDA" has a vital role to play. This campaign is going to be launched soon.
Please join PINA Uganda today to tell our leaders to continue to amplify their voices and be heard even more clearly now that we can see the possibility of an HIV free generation by donating US$ 15,000 to launch this campaign in Wakiso district. Visit our website- www.pina-ug.org and write to us to say HIV IS GOING TO LOSE, SILIMU AJAGENDA.
We have seen this work in the 1980s when Uganda scored so many goals in the fight against HIV/AIDS. That's the kind of action we need now. We however need to triple our efforts to achieve the vision of zero new infections, zero AIDS related deaths and zero discrimination. People like you, are the reason Uganda is on its way back. Imagine what we can get done if we all decide to join in.
Make a commitment, and join PINA Uganda to call on our leaders, civil society and everyone to get back to work: www.pina-ug.org.
Let's go, PINA Uganda.
