26th Annual Gathering UNAACauses.Org Uganda Festival 2014 Fundraising News   PRESS RELEASE: UNAA Causes Delivers in Fight Against Cancer.     UNAA Causes Raises $2500 for Cancer Fight Dear community members,      The UNAA Causes team would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation to the community members who came to San Diego Marriott La Jolla for the Uganda festival. It was wonderful to see you all. With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to champion more causes that affect the lives of Ugandans in our communities. Thank you very much for the support and faith in our leadership as we continue to reclaim the values and mission of our organization UNAA.   UNAA Causes will always be part of UNAA to hold current and future leaders to a high standard as stewards of the constitution and advocates of community initiatives. Our community cause this year was rallying our membership to contribute to the fight against cancer-(Cancer alleviation in Uganda). This is a terrible disease that has affected our friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and loved ones. With your help, UNAA causes has raised a total of $2,500 through festival registration and direct contributions. Community members who are still interested in contributing to this cause or were not able to attend the San Diego Uganda festival are reminded that fundraising is still open. The deadline for contributing to the cancer awareness initiative ends on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 after which, we shall embark on a new UNAA Causes 2015 project.
