 The Ugandan press is reporting that Kampala International University had the highest numbers of students approved for student loan scheme. And that only science students were considered.  The figures as per the Monitor are as follows :

Makerere University 229,
Kyambogo University 157,
Ndejje University 136
 
 Busitema 101.
 
Mbarara University 79
Gulu University 47
Uganda Christian University 44
Uganda Martrys University 34
Nkumba University 13
