OTEMA ALLIMADI'S SON ON DR.RUGUNDA BEING APPOINTED PM:
''Rugnda is a true brother and gentleman to the core. I first met him in 1975 in Lusaka Zambia when he took the time to deliver personally a message from my dad Otema Allimadi. He was in transit from Dar es Salaam to Maputo. There is something intrinsic in him that is for the good of Ugandans particularly and mankind in general. We can bank on this man. I believe he's got the X Factor, and that is agape love.most original UPM members were all in UPC, including Yoweri Museveni. While we were in Dar es Salaam in the 1970s, all these men used to interact amicably with each other. I know this because our family residences were used for meetings about toppling President Idi Amin; and I used to take the minutes. I studied and assessed their character traits. I was there among the Delegates Conference at Moshi in March 1979. When Kampala fell on April 11 1979, I was the first journalist to interview the new President Yusuf Lule and his Cabinet. I accompanied them on an Air Tanzania plane that brought us back to Uganda. I continued to work closely with the UNLF Secretariat and had unrestricted access to all the leaders.I have always wondered how Uncle George Abola got into NRM and became High Commissioner to Canada. I was very close to him as well............Even my dad Otema Allimadi, implored all these players not to destroy Uganda. And I was there form the very beginning of UPC; the meetings used to take place at our home in Bungatira before independence. And again I was there as a young boy.''
''Betty Allimadi came to the Allimadi Family when she was already an adult. She never really learnt our dad Otema Allimadi's political principles and philosophy. I have been through it all. Perhaps you may recall GRUNDIG an Electronics Shop on Kampala Road, which belonged to my wife. I gave it to Uncle George Abola to operate it, after my wife suddenly died in August 1984.. We had a deal that we would share the business. 30 years later not even 1 shilling! Remember the love of money is the root of all evil.''

"War is nothing but a continuation of political intercourse, with a mixture of other means. Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest."
