{UAH} SSERWANGA MUKIIBI PASSES ON

1. James Mukiibi Sserwanga has passed on at Mulago Hospital.
2. He has been Chairman Board of Directors a founding member and the currently Executive Director. He served as Assistant National Coordinator DEMGroup-U in charge of media monitoring and information Dissemination   2003-2006.  Under   NEMGroup-U Mukiibi was the Director of information in charge of NEMGroup-U sponsored   Radio and TV programs. He is  one of the first  four volunteers  who trained in media monitoring in US under the AAI program Moses \
3. Sswerwanga Mukiibi, who was famous, for being Secretary General of Uganda Journalist Safety Committee, under the late President Muhammad Katende, who passed away late last year, joined journalism in early nineties as a Reporter for Ngabo/ The Star newspapers, where he had worked previously in the Accounts Department in late eighties.
4. He has been under caretaker of veteran journalist, Omutaka Ndugwa Grace Ssemakula Musoke and burial arrangement, will be announced later.
