I'd not landed on that juicy tidbit of JC's expanded family, but the whole notion of God and Jesus requires unwavering faith.  Once you start questioning any aspect of the Bible or Jesus, then you're instantly condemned as non-believer!

"As with anything about JC, this book will garner readership and criticism in equal measure." Pojim

Very true, Pojim. There will never be winners and losers in this faith and esp JC thingi. As for me, I am now more than ever convinced that JC had a woman. Some how if as we were made to know that he was both man and God then he (like me and you( must have experienced some urges and surges from and in the groins. There is no way dude could have lived his 40 yeas plus without fooling his father like we all have done to our earthly fathers.

I also recently read some disturbing thriller on the virgin conception. It is said Mary, mother of JC was a virgin accented to serve a role in the temple as expected of virgins those days and and docu went of to say she was in fact. impregnated by a Rabi of the temple who when found she was preggy she was discarded to Joseph as wife - or rather future care taker of the unborn JC. That could as well be translated as JC was a child born of rape by some pervert presdiong or serving as Rabbi or Teacher.

What must puzzle every one is that after JC, Mary went on to spew four others of JC's siblings and this time all with Joseph - live. And it shouldnt surprise many that as many as a quarter or more of the so-called JC's disciples were in fact his blood brothers.

Christianity and Islam are the two religions that are most intolerant and violent. More people have been killed in the names of Christianity and Islam than all the other religions combined.

Pojim;

The one thing I never get into or try to avoid are  argu‎ments on Religion.

I believe no one wins in any discussion because minds are pretty made up on any position/s.

It is not lost on me that for example Christianity in general is on the wane in the West where it originated,  while it going strong in Africa where it was used as a tool of conquest.

I remember a quote attributed to Jomo Kenyatta, who stated: "when the Christian Missionary came to Africa, he had the Bible and we had the land. They (Mis
