Why Desire Luzinda went to the Police Head Quarters

"I came willingly to the police head quarters to make a statement regarding the leakage of my nud# pictures and I apologized to the public because I know that there are so many people that were affected. Desire was a tourist attraction as she walked around the corridors of the police headquarters in Naguru on Wednesday.

Seeks Police Protection

"Desire sought to have protection from the police because there were people who were misusing and abusing the photos and also trailing her, so she felt that her life was in danger," The police spokesperson, Polly Namaye said.

Her Lawyer Appeals for Calm

"The community should side with her and support her, government and the other authorities should all come together to support her because she is a victim and then we should help the authorities to get the perpetrators," said Sheila Namahe, Desire Luzinda's lawyer.

Seya Speaks Out - It's unfortunate this happened and she cannot reverse it, but Ugandans should forgive her. It's important that our daughters start behaving well and go back to the aunties (Ssenga's) because for us when we used to do such things, we could switch off all the lights, but these days, you people have your own conceptions. This will be a learning lesson to other girls, " the former Kampala Mayor, Hajj Nasser Ntege Ssebagala aka Seya said.

He was asked if he has any relationship with Desire and this is what he had to say; "I don't have any relationship with her, but we are friends."
