{UAH} Gook, Ocen//Uhuru's selfie in UAE as Kenya burns

Folks;

To quote the great American boxing promoter, Don King, "It don't look good!"

This selfie might come back to haunt Uhuru for the remainder of his term: besides appearing under the influence, how far back does the president go with this woman?

And if she's into corporate marketing, what role did she or does she play in Uhuru political life? Or, should we leave these questions to Kenya's First Lady?

I think the president's communication aides panicked that Uhuru might have bitten more than he can chew, so they issued a lengthy statement to try to mitigate the fallout.

This week, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been the subject of ridicule.
Kenyans feel that it was wrong for him to be watching Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi while the country mourned the death of 28 Kenyans who were shot dead by Al-Shaabab in Mandera.
As if that wasn't enough, a photo of him posing next to an unknown lady (top picture) emerged online.

Heads Up later learnt that the so called @MsThandalicious is actually a famous wannabe socialite.

Her real name is Thandi Ojeer, a former girlfriend of football star Claude Makelele, who in the past worked with Jada Styles Boutique co-owned by Chelsea footballer Didier Drogba. She also once managed and marketed international Sony Music artistes like Beyonce, Ricky Martin, JLo, Lauryn Hill and Mariah Carey in the UK.
But her selfie with Uhuru caused so much uproar online that Thandi had to deactivate her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
However, according to a statement released by PSCU, Uhuru met King Abdullah II of Jordan, with whom he discussed threats posed by terrorism to Kenya and the Middle East.

He also met Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, among others.
The president left Kenya on November 21 for a four-day official visit to Abu Dhabi.
He stayed away from social media, prompting Kenyans to demand that he cut short his trip.

"How can the president go enjoying himself when Kenya is burning? We have been left to bury our dead in our poverty," said Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale.
