{UAH} Kick out NRM historicals, voters told
Kabale
The speaker of Kabale Municipal Council, Mr Richard Muhanguzi, has appealed to Ugandans to do away with NRM founding politicians and vote young FDC party members into power.
Addressing journalists at his office in Kabale Town last Thursday, Mr Muwanguzi said voting Mr Amama Mbabazi to replace President Museveni will not make any change in leadership because the two, who have in power for long, are responsible for the bad and good things that Uganda has experienced during their leadership.
“President Museveni, Mr Amama Mbabazi, Dr Kizza Besigye and Mugisha Muntu are all in the same generation and we need fresh blood to take up the leadership of our country,” Mr Muhanguzi, who is an FDC member, said.
RDC speaks out
Reacting to the speaker’s comments, the deputy resident district commissioner, Mr Moses Niwagaba, said those seeking leadership will have to contest and assume leadership democratically rather than sitting and wishing as if power will be handed to them as if it is done in kingdoms.
