-- The Libyan government owns 49 per cent of NHCC, while government owns 51 per cent.
Libya acquired the shares after negotiations for a debt was swapped, in which Libya agreed to cancel the interest and penalties on Uganda's debt amounting to $88m (sh162.8b) of a $184m (Shs340.4b) debt.
