{UAH} Ugnada needs experienced and visionary leaders
The success stories in the Great Lakes region are turning out to have been mirages all a long. The region does not need soldiers for development. Latin America tried it and the experiment failed and soldiers handed over to civilians. That is what we need in our area. We need people who have tried development through experiment and observation. Not those writing from ivory towers and write blue prints as though they are writing to fellow professors. I read Prof. Amii Otunnu's article. I found it heavy stuff. How many ordinary people will understand it? That is why we need to choose carefully who should govern Uganda next. Amii and Sejusa will not only sink Uganda deeper into the grave they will bury it as they buried FUF in London.
This time let us choose carefully. You don't need a brother or sister in office to get by. Sectarianism should be got rid of in Uganda. Competence should be the word to sing; not whom you know.
Eric.
