As the series continue, we have decided to post a series Appendix 1 due to the importance of the matter. As we have stated before, we are very interested in collecting all data that can be achieved from all those that ended up victims of the Acholi violence in The Luwero war. As this call went through we are getting more information as the series continue and we are pilling it up. We however find ourselves with a problem that many of those that are sending us the information are old, men and women that survived the tyranny in Luwero, those that lost their children their families, and those that ended up very traumatized or medically very affected. As this information keeps on pilling up, we are going to keep on coming back to the larger base to request for public assistance in pinpointing what we have failed to collect from those giving us the information, and thus today’s appendix I on the Acholi violence in Luwero. When I wrote a piece about looting our property and sending it to Northern Uganda, I stated that I was not worried about the loot its self, but I decided to list this loot due to the intent. When you as a UNLA officer loot a double door fridge from Kampala and load it to an army truck heading to your home in Cwero, and you know that you have no power supply, what is your intent?  With that very same reasoning, I know there was a war in Luwero, and in war people get arrested, they get torture and get killed. But I am raising the murdering of people in Nakaseke town due to its brutality.                           And here we go.

 

We have been reliably informed that Acholis created an army detachment in Nakaseke trading center, at a location in a hotel building that they forcefully took over from the owner. We also know that this hotel was used as interrogation center of all those that had been arrested in suspicion of collaborating with NRA, but we also know that everyone in Luwero district including UPC members, was a suspect to UNLA. We are informed that very many women and girls picked up from the war zone were driven into this hotel raped and ended up murdered.  Now what has raised our interest into this particular  hotel, is that it is a high rise, and after they tortured Ugandans in the rooms below, after they raped the women and girls in the rooms below, they ran them to the top of the hotel, and drop them to the ground to their death. By the end of the war that Nakaseke hotel was known as the dropping to death building. When you fall off a building you die due to the way you dropped on the ground, because the building is not that tall, some people fell and failed to die. Acholis left those to cry themselves into death, many times taking two to three days. And that is the kind of violence in Acholis that has struck my nerve. You have arrested this individual, you have tortured him, or raped her, you have driven him or her to the top of the hotel, you have dropped him to death and he has failed to die. Do him a favor as a Ugandan for fuck sakes and shoot him. Was that asking for too much from an Acholi?  Ge’ez !!!!!!!!!  I have just talked to a very old woman today, that lost her two sons and a daughter on the same hotel building, the daughter took two days to die in agony on the floor after she was savagely raped and dropped.

 

This is what we need and very urgently. If you are in Nakaseke or in Uganda today, we need the name of this hotel, we need to know the height it had during the war, if that height has changed we need to know its current height {just the floors number}. Is it still a hotel or it has been changed to a different business enterprise? What is its physical address? We need its current photograph. If you are not in Nakaseke but you can go in and get us this information, kindly do so and we will finance your trip in and out. Contact me privately so that we can organize that trip.

 

Friends in repeating myself over but over, The Acholi violence must be addressed and stopped, but the Luwero atrocities must be made a core of Uganda’s moving forward. The UPC government refused to hand us a commission on Luwero, Tito Okello denied us a commission on Luwero, The Movement denied us a commission on Luwero, and George Okello continues to frustrate us with trying every trick in the God damn book to muzzle our calling for a commission on Luwero. Let me assure you this,  time is a very honorable friend, and that time will drive us to a point where UPC, Tito Okello, The Movement and George Okello are no longer in power to protect the killers. That is the point where a commission of inquiry on Luwero atrocities will take place. At this time as The George Okello’s are frustrating us, let us simply hung in there collecting as much data as we possibly can for time is on our side. If you have been contacting Luwerorians in your small way please continue to do so, with time we are going to set up an entire portal where we will document every atrocity committed by Acholi in our district.

 

We are thus today, making finding all information about a hotel Acholis used in Nakaseke town to murder our people a priority one.
