{UAH} Buganda Kingdom To Take Over WBS TV

Buganda kingdom under their most successful venture, Central Broadcasting Corporation (CBS FM) have finalised plans to buy out the Naguru hill based WBS TV.

The TV has lately been suffering from financial and administrative setbacks but the board has finalized their arrangements to sell it off.

Our snoops can authoritatively reveal that the Mengo based Radio station and the entire Kingdom are planning to turn around WBS TV to suit the competitive market.

"CBS believes they can turn around WBS TV into a huge money making venture. This is the plan and they believe it will work," a highly placed source reveals.

Gordon Wavamuno, the current owner of WBS has for the past two years ignored the station, claiming it is deteriorating in magnitude money.

The setbacks in the station are believed to be as a result of constant administrative reshuffles which gives the station limited space for growth.

Three managers have quit the station in a period of less than a year as they set out to get better work places.

Its Production Manager Sophie Matovu, News Manager Prossy Kisitu, Radio Manager John Kiiza are among the latest to leave for greener pastures.

Other employees at the station are also believed to leave the company since their salaries are delayed over and over again.
