Royal palaces Fire fighting specialists commissioned

Over 30 Kabaka's subjects and Uganda police men have gone through fire fighting drills to gain skills of how to prevent and control fire outbreak.
These specialists will operate in most important places and heritage sites owned by the Kingdom of Buganda.
As he was commissioning the group at Wamala tombs, in his message delivered by 2nd deputy Katikkiro Mohamood Ssemambo Ssekimpi, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga said that the Kingdom must have a clear plan of overcoming such disasters of fire in order to avoid similar problems and this is the reason behind the establishment of fire fighting specialists.
Speaking to the gathering at Wamala tombs, as minister in charge of Culture, heritage, tourism and Royal Tombs Owekitiibwa Ssekimpi said it's everybody's concern in observing safety of the heritage sites. This will go in record like our ancestors who are praised in different songs of Uganda.
Uganda police' fire department commissioner, Joseph Mugisa reported that they will frequently make courses with this group seeing that properties of Buganda and the people of Buganda are well protected.
The commissioner in the ministry of tourism Remigious Kigongo Mugerwa on behalf of Uganda Museum and the government of Netherlands said, there was need to observe Buganda's history and belongings given enough protection.
Netherlands government facilitated the training courses with equipments and water tanks billed at 12m shillings (Twelve million shillings).
