{UAH} Captured LRA top commander Ongwen for ICC Publish Date: Jan 13, 2015

President Museveni is one of the leading African leaders accusing ICC of targeting African leaders and thus is determined to see African countries pulling out of the international court. Earlier, the Uganda government had referred the notorious LRA commanders to the same court for terrorism. The accused has urged other colleagues to surrender; if they do, will Ongwen be considered a peacemaker, since he will have contributed much to end the conflict?

Now that one of the five LRA commanders is destined to appear before the same court, will President Museveni reverse his hatred for the court; and will he trust their handling of the case? 

It remains to see how Kampala establishment will react especially when the matter of calling witnesses from both sides comes. Was it wrong for President Museveni tarnishing the image of the body without substantiating the claims?
