{UAH} Grand Paris demonstration against terrorism

Over 1,600,000 have demonstrated today afternoon in Paris alone to show their hatred
towards terrorism and racism. This was part of the four million demonstrators
that have taken part in this Sunday's great show of strength against the very silly evil.
that cost so many lives a few days ago when attackers assaulted the Charlie Hebdo
Headquarters in the centre of Paris to open a stream of terrorist acts that paralysed Paris
and brought panic all over the country, and worry within the international community.
Public transport has been free in the city throughout the day and in many cases entire families
made it to the venue. Over 50 heads of state and government were also there and they were cheered
by the great crowds. They came from all the continents and they were received and welcomed by
President François Hollande who proposed a buffet to them at his presidential palace before the beginning
of the demonstration. In addition to these international figures there were also many prestigious local personalities
present : religious leaders, academicians and scholars, the political class, etc.. Then there were also very many
journalists and media personnel from all over the world, including many from Africa.TV's relayed direct the event right from
1 pm to 8 pm!
The demonstration took to a flying start at 3.30 pm from Paris's Place de la République ( Republic Square ) which
was already awash with multitudes of people ( hundreds of thousands ) four hours before the appointed hour! And people
continued coming and joining in up to the end of the great show at Place de la Nation ( Nation Square ).
The official international delegations with their presidents, premiers, etc were brought to the venue in four buses that
collected them from the presidential palace. Then they walked for aboujt a kilometer following a less congested street.
In the end the President embraced each one of the participants before they returned to their places of residence.
President Hollande had later on to go to the Paris main synagogue with the Israeli premier Netanyau and they were madly
cheered there. The main demonstration continued to go on until 9.15 pm !
The single day crowds all over France have been compared in numbers to those that welcomed France's total liberation at
the end of World War II.
As for the victims, they are lying in a mortuary pending a concise scientif examination of their remains. Then the burials will
take place probably by mid-week. Terrorist Amed Coulibaly's parents have openly expressed regret for their son's malversations
whioch cost him his very dear life. A family member is gone however life will remain normal in the house and the law will protect
the entire family since the French penal code very strongly protects such persons from any form of aggression whether verbal or
physical, and anybody who dares faces imprisonment and a very big fine. Every citizen has got to be rightly protected by the state.
As the events draw to another dimension following the very successful demonstrations, the French President has got to be relieved
by the pack of sincere appreciation that now qualifies him as a national unifier and a great statesman who shows no mercy towards
terrrorism. The massive turnout of world leaders and foreign delegations for the demonstration was indeed a moral show of solidarity
that in some ways is helping Hollande to take on an aura of a glorious prestige within the French society.hence politics will move well
on his part as a firm leader.
