{UAH} Is it Ok to lie in an advert?!

Is it okay for companies to tell outright lies in their adverts?  Do we have a national watchdog that actually checks on the content of these adverts?!  Examples  NSSF runs an advert with a certain interest rate and boldly claims Things have never been better for its clients!  The fact is that this is an outright lie,  NSSF has ever given a much bigger interest rate to its clients (just do a very simple investigation)!  What about the witchdoctors with all sorts of adverts on TV and radio?!  Are their claims true?!
