IF YOU are a woman and you want a house in this councillor's ward, the message is clear: have sex with him and you get a house!

Deny him the sex and you stay in your shack. The WhatsApp and SMS allegedly sent by the councillor make no secret of what is on offer.

"Ngizokufaka kanjani mawala nama rago," reads one of the messages, which basically says, how can I put you in the house if you refuse sex?

At least three women claim that Councillor Western Kgomo from Ackerville, near Witbank in Mpumalanga, promised to remove the names of other people on the list and replace them with their own names if they agreed to have sex with him.

He allegedly made his moves on them via telephone calls, SMSes WhatsApp texts.

Mathabo Falaza (30) said she applied for a house and the councillor took her number.

"Then he started calling me, telling me to sleep with him if I wanted the house. After many messages, he tried one last time. I will sacrifice a person on the list and enter your name," he said.

When Mathabo threatened to report him to his superiors, he bragged: "Go ahead. They don't have this number, so they will not believe you."

Nomvula Skosana (40) said the councillor has been trying to bonk her for more than a year now.

Cyntia Maraba (39), who has a deformed right leg, reported him to the ANC office .

This was after he allegedly called her a cripple and made fun of her disability. Kgomo denied calling or sending the women messages.

"The speaker and I had a meeting with them but they could not provide any evidence," he said.

The ANC's chief whip in Emalahleni, Sunday Mathebula, said the matter was not reported to his office.

"These rumours have been doing the rounds for some time, but no formal complaint was lodged. All housing projects are no longer facilitated by ward councillors but are now handled by the office of the mayor. Those affected must lodge a formal complaint so that the matter can be dealt with accordingly," he said.
