{UAH} President donates vehicles and machinery

President Yoweri Museveni has made donations of vehicles and machinery
to various individuals and groups in fulfillment of pledges made.

The handing over ceremony that took place on Thursday at State House
Entebbe, was attended among others, by the First lady, Mrs. Janet
Museveni, who is Minister for Karamoja Affairs.
The donations were in fulfillment of the various pledges that the
President made to the beneficiaries.

The President handed over Mitsubishi cars to eleven District Khadis of
Iganga, Ntungamo, Kamuli, Masindi, Tororo and Kanungu. Other district
Khadis were from Nebbi, Hoima, Bushenyi, Sebei and Mayuge.

Mr. Museveni also handed over a Land Cruiser ambulance to Ngora
Hospital which is in Kumi district. He gave the traditional healers of
Kyaggwe a 7-ton Tata lorry, while Namawojolo market,which is situated
along the Kampala – Jinja Highway, Rwenshonzi Farmers and Lwengo
Village Cooperative, were each given a Fuso lorry. Ndinzi Group from
Isingiro district in South Western Uganda, received a pick up vehicle.

Donations of a tractor each went to Rakai-based Catholic religious
congregation of Kiteredde Banakaroli Brothers, Hon. Kasolo Kyeyune
(Kyotera); Member of Parliament of Buhaguzi in Hoima district, Hon.
Junjula; Nakole Farmers and Kaabong Youth. Individual recipients of
vehicles included Ms. Gwanga Namirembe; Mr. Kashenya Yokana; Namwandu
Bakari; Ms. Rebecca; Elizabeth Muloki and Gabula family.

A Pajero car each went to the King of Nebbi, Rt. Rev. Edward
Baharagate, Bishop Emeritus of Hoima Diocese and Mutesa 1 University.
