{UAH} President Museveni commissions mega health facility, school in Jinja

President Yoweri Museveni has highly commended the Galaxy Group of
investors from Turkey for supporting education and health sectors in
Uganda.

The President made the remarks yesterday while addressing the
management and staff of Nile International Hospital and Galaxy
International School – Uganda, after commissioning the 2 facilities at
Walukuba in Jinja Municipality.

Nile International Hospital offers specialized treatment to various
ailments while Galaxy International School avails quality education
using high digital technology. The school is the first campus which is
in Eastern Uganda. The pioneer school is Lubowa Galaxy in Kampala
district and offers Nursery teaching up to Advanced Secondary School
level.

President Museveni noted that much as the government has schools and
hospitals, it welcomes supplementary efforts by investors in those
sectors because they add value and offer a diversification of approach
in delivering education to Ugandans.

Mr. Museveni added that similarly in the health sector, investors have
huge opportunities where they can play a big role in providing
specialized treatment that would have been done abroad. He said that
their services go a long way in helping the country save a lot of
money.

While at the facilities, the President was conducted on a guided tour
by the Director of Galaxy group Mr. Ibrahim.
