Police have arrested the owner of Katumwa Sports Centre, Mr David Katumwa, to help with investigations over alleged defilement of a 16-year old girl.
Police have arrested the owner of Katumwa Sports Centre, Mr David Katumwa, to help with investigations over alleged defilement of a 16-year old girl.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman Patrick Onyango confirmed the arrest of Mr Katumwa.
"He was picked from his home and has been detained at Katwe Police Station," Mr Onyango said yesterday.

Mr Katumwa, who recorded the statement with the police yesterday, claimed he was set up by his ex-wife.
It is alleged Mr Katumwa committed the offence in January 2 on Entebbe Road.
The girl reportedly informed the relatives who reported to police at Katwe Police Station.

Mr Onyango said the girl was taken to a police surgeon where an examination was carried out.
