{UAH} Thank you for your presence and messages

A few hours ago, my father, the late Reverend/Canon Samwiri Kashambuzi was laid to rest in his ancestral home of Nyarurambi village in Rukungiri district of southwest Uganda where his father, grandfather and great grandfather along with their relatives are also resting.

Although I did not attend in person due to circumstances beyond control, I was informed in real time about what happened since he passed on January 5 to the time he was laid to rest on January 7, 2015.

I thank you all for joining us in celebrating the life and achievements of my father and for sending condolence messages.

That people came from near and far and different backgrounds to bid farewell to a fellow human being was most gratifying. This is a lesson I commend to all Ugandans in present and future generations.

Eric Kashambuzi, New York, USA
