On September 29^th, 2005, the last LRA commander to die at the hands of Arrow was killed at Iyalakwe. Initially, he was believed to be the infamous Brigadier Dominic Ongwen, but it appeared that this was not the case. Up to now, the person’s identity has remained unknown. His death marked the end of LRA activity in Teso. The corpse was publicly displayed in the towns of Amuria and Soroti to demonstrate the LRA’s vulnerability.
