Ottomans were a pride of muslim ummah for centuries.Those arabs who rebelled against ottomans have nothing to with our islaaf.The Sharia had been abolished since the kufr of the tanzimat and the Uthmaniyoon hadn't built anything outside of Anatolia in centuries. The Sharif had a valid claim to the khulafa since he was quraysh(Banu Hashem) were as the Sultan was ajanib. Also, Selim's acquisition was questionable to be begin with. This is no way a defence of Banu Abbas or the Awni clan(sharif's Hashemi clan). It's just some of the greviences. However the prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told us not to revolt even if the leader takes our money and beats us. Which is why ulema have condemned the unislamic revolts which started from a loser killing himself in tunis.I advise you to read a book of Dr.Israr Ahmed entitled:The rise and decline of muslim ummah.In this book you will be able to understand many things about these dynasties.

2.The first community of Muslims in what is now the United States may have been a group of about 200 "Turks and Moors" brought to the English colony of Roanoke (in present-day North Carolina) by Sir Francis Drake in 1586. They had been used as slaves on Spanish ships captured by Drake.

Their fate is unknown, as the Roanoke Colony was found to be totally abandoned in 1590, with its residents probably having gone to live among local Native Americans. There is some speculation that the Melungeon people of Appalachia are partially descended from this early group of Muslims.

Also read a book by American convert Jerald F Dirks. Titled "Muslims in American History" in that book among many things it talked about Native Americans tribe inter marriages with the Muslims (Turks and African) and their Islamic background. It also talked about the similarity of the Cherokee language and the ancient Turkish language. One more thing I'm impressed with the Native Americans mentioned in the book was their willingness and open mindedness in accepting runaway slaves and making them one of their tribe. The Natives American inter marriages also include African Muslims runaway slaves who were accepted by Native Americans. Native Americans were labeled as savages but they seems to have more compassion and open mindedness.
