Female South African duo rob a doctor's surgery

February 3, 2015 — Footage of two women robbing a South African doctor's rooms has gone viral on social media. The unsuspicious duo allegedly stole a laptop in a well-disciplined, casual fashion

Crime in South Africa appears to be undergoing a shift that may change existing stereotypes about thieves. Just the other day, we told you abouta white man who held up a service station convenience store at gun point.

This CCTV video captured last month depicts a couple of women who nonchalantly enter a medical practice to, it appears, book an appointment. While the one woman makes the enquiries at the front desk, her partner waits on a couch at the far end of the front desk.

The seated partner then ducks below view of the receptionists and disappears into the corridors and eventually reappears to stuff a laptop into her handbag.

Moral of the story? Anyone can be a criminal – not just black men.
