thought out from a recent reality show, "on our own") and that

Baby brudder Nick Gordon stands to inherit the $20 million estate  if Kristina Brown can't pull off a miracle recovery.

After her mother's tragic death in 2012, Brown inherited millions, which was previously overseen by Houston's sister-in-law, Pat Houston.

"Pat used to be a lot more involved but lately she has been shut out," the source said. "Krissy has been in charge of her money since she turned 21″ in March 2014.

Brown and Gordon wed in January of last year 2014, and now he stands to inherit her estate — against the family's wishes.

"Krissy's family would like to have Nick out of the picture," an insider explained. " They believe that he is very manipulative and they would like to find some way to knock him out of the box."

"Krissy and Nick do not have a prenup," a source close to Whitney Houston's daughter told RadarOnline.com
