{UAH} Hon. Karooro Okurut; Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006

Hon. Okurut Karooro

In Ugandans Capital City you can hardy find a place to help your self. City toilets yes toilets are just that African toilets.

Just visit Mengo or Rubaga , Nsambya hospital, government schools and or office in Entebbe, Jinja or anywhere - there is total dilapidation - why?

*It is simply because no one gives damn about keeping standards - then bring in the law and regular inspection everywhere.

Even Makerere , Kaymabogo or Nakawa an Ivory Tower has no eyes to see broken toilet seats, stinking latrines - Africa is stunted .

See an esteemed smart dressed to kill  professor squatting on a stinking toilet seat - why do Africans do not care at all? decolonisation total rubbish

Town clerks, Chief Excutive (indeed) Officers, Building inspectors, labour organisation, environmental and sanitary engineers all these people must be present on ground in each and every district and work place.

Ugandan can't continue living into such conditions. The ministry should demand that all laws, rules, regulations that pertains to a specific work place, building, hospital or school, maintenance schedules  should be put into a manual, which file every work place must have at a estates office for quicker reference for government; school, building, hospital, road, industrial complex inspectors -

Wonderful Hon. Mary Karooro Okurut - this is over due and Uganda for once need to observe international standards of ; work place, buildings, hygiene some schools, hospitals, government offices are so teribly dilapidated etc imagine that Hilton loose its occupation since the hotel is being occupied in an unfinished state.

In fact that is what is lacking to bring our institution to international standards and ISO certification. see KCCA offices top most!
