 ID REGISTRATION

The People we are representing through Uganda are complaining about the poor circumstance in which ID registration IS BEING DONE. most OF THE people REMAIN TO BE REGISTERED. it IS THEREFORE MEANINGLESS FOR ANYONE to states that ID REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CONCLUDED. there IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR ENDING THE excise. IT MUST REMAIN IN GEAR BECAUSE THE TECHNOLOGY USED IS TOO OLD TO CAPTURE ENOUGH PEOPLE PER DAY.

The registration so far done has a number of loopholes. A good number of non-citizens have been registered as citizens contrary to article 11 of the Constitution of Uganda.

It is unconstitutional for the ID registration excise to be confused with the voting excise in the General election scheduled for 2016 Why? is so because in the ID  registration excise, not all those registered must necessarily be potential voters. The Constitution demands that the electoral Commission has to prepare a voters register separate from those registered for the citizen identification excise. The is no legal space for one to assume that one excise will meet the demands of the other.

With reference to the Constitution of Uganda which demands that it is only the citizens of Uganda who are entitled to posses National Identity card, Many real owners of Uganda have not been registered. A number of non-citizens have been registered.

The registration excise must therefore as a meeter of responsibility be extend to enable many more Ugandans to register themselves. The extended period should also be used by the program responsible for registration to correct the error they have made in the course of registrations. Non-citizens should be withdrawn from the Nation REGISTER 

The generation of ghost workers in the public service scheme will never end for as long as the registration of citizen continues to be deceitful.
