Alex Jones spent an exhausting 30 hours travelling to Uganda on Saturday.
When she finally touched down, The One Show presenter wasted no time in getting down to business.
Dressed in a blue shirt, skin-tight jeans and a protective plastic helmet, she headed out in the sweltering heat and made her way to a run down health clinic.

As part of this year's Red Nose Day campaign, volunteers are renovating the struggling practice - the Lyolwa Health Clinic - and Alex has jetted in to lend a helping a hand.By March 6, the team are hoping to have completed the construction work and transformed the centre into a fully functioning healthcare facility.
Making sure she was pulling her weight, Alex was seen on the construction site on Monday afternoon, helping the team as they laid down a new roof for the centre.

Afterwards, she ventured out into the local community and spoke to locals to find out how Comic Relief donations have made a difference to their lives.
Taking to her Twitter account, she said: 'Awake early this morning to film 2 powerful stories for comic relief. At least the sun is shining. #uganda.
'Hear their story next week on the One Show.'
Despite being in such high spirits, Alex had a nightmare journey travelling to Eastern Uganda and must have been exhausted.

She revealed to her followers: 'Eventually landed in Uganda after a 30 hour trip, but some of our luggage is still in Nairobi. #travelwoes.'
Fortunately, Alex was in good company on the trip as she was travelling with BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James.
According to the radio DJ, the British public have already donated £42,000 towards the Operational Health project.
He tweeted: 'You are incredible. Can't wait to tell everyone at the clinic!'
