{UAH} Ocen, WBK//Mao takes leave - to let others run DP

Folks;

There is something refreshing in this development.

First, I may be wrong here but I think this is the first time a party leader in Uganda has taken a leave of absence and entrusted his leadership role to his subordinates.

Secondly, I think that by invoking doctor's order, Mao is the first Ugandan politician to admit that his health is failing him in as far as executing his leadership role is concerned. So, while the chronological age is still on his side, Mao acknowledges that his poor health makes it hard for him to run the party.

This is refreshing, because rarely do we hear about our leaders experiencing health problems, let alone taking time off to heal.
