Ugandan man 'castrated' by hanging
By This Is Africa on February 23, 2015 — A man in Central Uganda was 'castrated' by being tied to a tree by his genitals and left to hang
A man in Central Uganda is tending to his wounds after losing one of his testicles to attackers who abused him by hanging him on a tree by a rope tied to his genitals.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Mpigi district, Central Uganda. The victim, Francis Ssekiranda was attacked when drinking with friends.
After being accused of liking one of his attacker's girlfriends and stealing a phone, Ssekiranda was harassed and beaten up then tied to a tree by his testicles and left to hang.
He was later found by residents bleeding profusely having fallen to the ground with one of his testicles lying beside him.
Two of the suspects have since been arrested and charged with torture and attempted murder. Another suspect who is said to be a UPDF soldier is still on the run.
