{UAH} WBK: Increase sexual activities in society leads to increased murders!
There is an intriguing relationship between increased sexism and murder offences, crimes and violence.
Uganda police force need police crime pattern and structure researchers possibly criminologist professors.
Normally the saying goes that "sex is a a poor man goldmine". The poor and deprived turn to sex for pleasure, confront, therapy from worldly misery, sedative drug from agony you name it. This is also a pointer using programming language to total social disintegration - I have no where to run to, besides my vagina or penis! It is like celebrating a new year.
Currently Uganda is griped with heightened cases of sex activities and murder offence or cases under such rubric;
- An old woman raped and strangled
- A young girl robbed and raped
- Murdered priest last seen with a woman colleague
- Taxi driver car stole and murder or strangled
- Family robbed and women raped
- Police man shots people dead
- Brother murders brother
- Religious leaders shot dead
- Man murders wife and children
- Woman murders husband
- Man murders family in land wrangle etc
- Mob kills innocent man
- Witchcrafts man abandons murdered person in shrine
Those are some of the headlines.
The more they (actors) do it the deeper the problem it becomes and worse still they often times remain in the quagmire. But sex is good if wisely used under custom and moral guidance to resolve some of the above problems knowingly.
The government (executive), parliament, and of course the courts of law all assume they have the situation under control – which is not the case. The situation is being aggravated by an adaptive behavior via the media. Yesterday everybody was either reading Hello, Bukedde etc,
Increased sex activities in society have a 1.5 -2.0% increase in murder cases one report wrote. Sexual activities increases when people are poor, deprived, in agony, yearning etc. And at the same time murder offence//crimes also increase with almost similar pattern.
For instance, whenever there is a spike in unemployment in industrial countries the above happens. It only surprises me that this same phenomenon could exist in a basically agrarian society that Uganda is.
Unknown to everybody innocent, victims as well actors is a form of psychological barrier break through. Do readers read for sympathy, pleasure, inquisitiveness, gain knowledge or enjoyment?
The above implies we have not seen anything as yet after Mweruka, Kasiwukira and Nsengas
Normally all known murders and this has been proven scientifically have a rare urge to sadistic and impulsive sex acts. Senses comeback when what they have done is already done
Courts and law enforcers look for motives of murder. Philosophers and sociologists 'these days' look for generative mechanisms. What generated the causes to the event?
These are radically two ontological different standing points.
The state will have to come out strongly to stump out first and foremost extra-judicial killing that are now engulfing the nation by may be executing openly those who are killing/murdering other people just to calm down the irked nerves.
Economic inputs will not solve the problem as per my experience from Europe.
WBK over to you.
