Sekajja,
Could some one leap some thoroughfare
of other key issues in the Agenda. Some outline would do so we others could have an insight?

When one begins to think that there is a fundamental difference between NRM and FDC, on policy and national direction, that understanding is quashed by this sort of party political exhibition.
FDC is overreaching on to the EAC, without serious understanding as to how this body should be run and directed to be useful to the East Africans. Joining and supporting the EAC in it's present form, is a huge political error.
If the viability of a working EAC is to be a lasting and fruitful, only functioning democracies, and not dictatorships, must form the union. Joining together the quasi-dictatorships of Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda to a five nations political formation, will not achieve the desired aim, of
"widening and deepening co-operation among the Partner States in, among others, political, economic and social fields for their mutual benefit".
Parties, with real purpose, should be aiming at ironing out the dictatorial creases characterising their home political landscape, and reorganising the power structures, before aiming for this big political undertaking of the EAC.
The dictators in this EAC formation are deluding themselves that they are creating a political entity, that will outlive them. Dead wrong!!! The late 1970s break up of the EAC should be a lesson, highlighting democracy as a best ingredient in 'cooking up and presenting' this entity.
