Nakaseke-Luwero is very near Lango, Teso and Bunyoro and these regions as much as Kampala need a real change - I am working out my options.

A few in 2011, i wanted to go for the mayoral post for Gulu town but my friends advised me against that, suggesting that  i should eye the bigger responsibility. Now i regret listening to these friends. Because it would have given me the chances to rebuild G-town and lay the foundation for the Greater North as a federal state.

In view, the elite just complain about filth and traffic jams but they are actually benefiting from the chaos. In fact, you advice is time - Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) should think of using smart city system to monitor the city. What KCC needs are cameras to capture these low lives and besides that, the cameras will bring order on the roads by fining drivers who use public walkways, hoot excessively and drive over pedestrian black and white crossings. Even concrete covers have been smashed tp pieces. I think the only method to solve the impasse is to get kampalans use smart phones to capture pictur of these poeople and police to deal with them. This must be a small group of people.

The smart dust bins, placed last year, virtually all of them have been destoryed, it appear also by smashing them with heavy tools!

Manhole covers are specifically covering drainage and sewer facilities which belong to NWSC.  This same group have destroyed waste disposal can, and street light poles - can you imagine a person climbing a pole to steal the lights - these people must be committed in what they are doing with a purpose.

I have tried to understand why manhole covers in Kampala City

are disappearing. I think it is well organised act not intent on just stealing covers to earn money!

MTN came and infocom have been in existence longer than KCCA

Uganda post and telecommunication exister even longer.

Amazingly, MTN covers of their internet infrastruture infrastructure vituall all of them are intacted.

All NWSC manhole covers assumed to be KCCA have  been stolen or simply dug up and the holes destroyed, whether in the middle of the road or on road reserves.

This is a hard job to carry out unless one is well organised and has

a mechnism to uproot these covers in a limited time of less 5 minutes not to be discovered by pedestrains walking th street and this works hapens under the cover of darkeness but even on well lit streets.
