{UAH} David Cameron has a genuine and fair strategy for winning the general elections.
Unlike someone we know, it sounds like United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron has a genuine and fair strategy for winning the general elections. I mean he takes a position on an issue, never changes his position and pretends he didn't take the previous position.
One of the most important policies that made Cameron unpopular among the immigrants was reduction on child benefits and he also wants to end such benefits for children living abroad. For some reason, I support him on this....may be because I have never been a beneficiary of such benefits in the UK. But seriously, the British welfare state is financed mainly from general taxation but there is something about promoting laziness and idleness for majority of the people getting such benefits. I know Its architect, William Beveridge, meant well but I think times have changed, and I just hope that the Labour leader isn't tempted to revert us back to where we were in case he wins the General elections.
Cameron, unlike the Labour leader, has the gift of the gab alright, and he has used it effectively since 2007! But sometimes he makes blunders with his reckless talk - Cam once said England was "France's junior partner" during the Second World War! Yesterday, while on TV, he said that he had turned the economy around but it doesn't feel like it, at least not for me. Like all Tories, he fell limp with nothing much to offer except hot air and probably term limits. Shame really, he nearly impressed me, but I like him. Good thing the election isn't next week.
