{UAH} DR KIYINGI TAKES OFF GLOVES!

Forum;

I was forced to stay up late on saturday night after getting a tip on text that Dr Kiyingi will be on voiceofUgandaradio.com. So i kept my eyelids open with matchsticks to keep them from closing, with such eagerness to listen to the Dr's voice.
The Dr did not come out, as one you would invite to deliver an after dinner speech but what he lacked in oration, he made up for it in his enthusiasm to put a kigingi on Mu7's yellow bus. To my knowledge, he is the only Muganda who has called Mu7 a dictator on a public medium. He was scathing of Mu7 and his henchmen, he neither minced his words, as to his intentions; to retire Mu7 out of politics; nor did he judder wearing his federal credentials on his sleeves. He categorically said he wants to run against Mu7 and to introduce federalism as an alternative system. And also, to protect the diverse cultural heritage of the different tribes in Uganda.

The questions put to the Dr from listeners, were soft and out of kilter and so were the answers. But clearly, the doctor has downed his surgical gloves and with it, the gauntlet. Whether Mu7 will accept the challenge; whether he will have followers among his people; whether he will turn into a Sejussa or simply evaporate like those diaspora newbies to the village politics, is yet to be  see. But clearly he seems not to rule out returning to the theatre, Luwero to you and me!
I confess that he has won me over with his enthusiasm and standing out as beacon of a federal torch bearer. I look forward to working with the Dr as a federalist, to shape a better future for Uganda.
