{UAH} EAX, ABC bank eye grain farmers with loan deals

There's a lot buried in this announcement.

Here is the synopsis of this deal: a granary-chain that expects to open up silos around East Africa has inked a deal with a regional bank to enable silo customers to use their crop harvest as collateral for bank loans.

Under this scenario, my mom in Japland would deposit a few sacks of maize at a silo in Nagongera, get a receipt of the deposits, and head out to the bank and obtain a loan to improve her farm, or pay off debts.

I have a few observations here, but I'll come back to them later.
