Educated children will be shot dead by ours who drop out of school 

"Fellow countrymen, we need to pause for a minute and introspect: will our children, attending highly-paid-for private education, live in the same Uganda and relate peacefully with the masses of UPE graduates who go to school but learn close to nothing?"

Moses, I could not agree with you. One day while in Fort Portal during a Teacher/Parent meeting (PTA), we the "regular" people argued that the school should not hike the fees but rather that it be accommodative of all children from poor and rich families.

One of the well-to-do parents said, "If you cant afford the fee, just take your child where he/she belongs and pay what you can afford. After all, from time immemorial, education has been only for the rich."

Then one of the regular parents shot up, "It's OK let the children of the rich sail through to university, get lucrative jobs as ours drop out of school. But guess what?

Your educated children will be shot dead by ours who drop out of school and become thugs due to conditions which would otherwise have been avoided Remember, no man is an island."
