{UAH} PLIGHT OF DARUFUR

Darfur region located in western Sudan with over 100 tribes. For centuries Darfur had enjoyed a peaceful co-existence among its diverse societies using traditional laws and forgiveness as means to resolve their conflicts. When the people of Darfur took arms against the government because they think that they were been neglected and abundant the NCP regime adopted the policy of divided rule by dividing the people of Darfur into Arab and non Arab and used Arab as counter insurgency

National dialogue  

In January 2014 Albashier called for national dialogue for all Sudanese people including the armed groups and the agenda was about political situation in our country, peace issues, economic and the identity of the country.  some political parties accept the motion while others think that is another game of Albashier to extend his existence in power amid of this he had amended the constitution which was passed by thumbprint parliament, in spite of creating the conducive environment for national dialogue he arrest the politicians, activists and restricted the freedom of expression. More over launch what's so called crucial summer military operations to liquidate the armed movement, the distortion of constitution was made to pave a way for albashier to maintain the power now he became the only authority with absolute power,  by doing so NCP has fired the bullet of mercy at the dying national dialogue.

Darfur situation now

The government left the region in the hand of its pro militias committing rape violates the humanitarian law displacing the people bombing the villages looting their properties

The region is almost chaotic the extremist groups are very active in the neighboring  countries to Sudan Ansar Alshria in Libya, Boko Haram is active in Nigeria, and expand its activities and move to Cameron, Niger and Chad what I fear is that the insecurity in Darfur and the failure of all efforts exerted by the regional and international community to achieve peace and permanently settle the conflict can create a good environment that may tempts  these terrorist to sneak into Darfur if this happens the situation will go out of control.
