During this visit they will hold a series of pre-planning meetings with fellow members of the Executive Committee and the UNAA Council and also the Management team of the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Hotel.

UNAA leadership Visits New Orleans
 
March 20th - 22nd 2015
 
New Orleans, Louisiana, March 20th 2015 - UNAA's leadership team led by the President, Mr. Brian M. Kwesiga and the Speaker of the UNAA Council, Mr. Nicholas K. Wakou will visit New Orleans, Louisiana, the host city for the 27th Annual UNAA Convention and Trade Exposition.
 
During this visit they will hold a series of pre-planning meetings with fellow members of the Executive Committee and the UNAA Council and also the Management team of the Hyatt Regency New Orleans Hotel.
 
During this visit the UNAA leaders will also carry out a site inspection and evaluation of the marine vessels prospecting to host the dinner cruise on Saturday September 5th 2015. Several contracts are expected to be finalized and announced as momentum builds towards what is shaping out to be yet another well attended convention.
 
A Q&A session open to the public will be held in Strand 14 Boardroom Hyatt Regency New Orleans hotel on Saturday, March 21st 2015 at 7:00pm.   
 
Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

The 27th Annual UNAA Convention and Trade Expo will take place over three days; September 4 - 6 2015 in the Central Business District (CBD) of the historic American city of New Orleans. The premier global networking event for the Ugandan Diaspora attracts more than 3,000 Ugandan Americans and Friends with program and forums including the Trade & Investment Forum, Technology Forum, Health Forum, Education Forum, Political Forum, as well as a forum on Intergenerational relationships between immigrants and their children born in the Diaspora, etc.
 
The Saturday Dinner Cruise is a popular culinary event complete with a dance to both live performances by popular artists and DJ music - aboard a magnificent marine vessel sailing into the spectacular Mississippi River sunset. Proceeds from the Fashion Show Auction during the Sunday Gala Dinner will go towards the Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program.

Exhibiting companies and vendors featuring the latest world class Ugandan culture, produce, music, books, literature, arts crafts, Jewelry, clothing, foods, etc. will gather at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans under the theme "Better Together: Investing in our future through education".
