{UAH} Uganda rejects negative U.S. travel advisory
Colleagues,
Let us visit this issue. Our colleagues at home in Uganda had this: "In a press interview Uganda Tourism Board chief executive Stephen Asiimwe franked by Amos Wekesa protested both the advisory saying that such information is detrimental to the country's economy."
Do you think this protestation is well reasoned? Is US wrong to advise its citizens about their security? For US, whose interests/concerns come first, those of its citizens or those of Ugandans? What do you think should be the way forward or best approach by UTB?
