Murdered South African musician Flabba laid to rest

By Silvia Mwendia on March 16, 2015 — South African musician Flabba's funeral took place on Sunday, and his girlfriend who is accused of stabbing him in the heart was granted bail today at the Alexandra Magistrate's Court

South African musician Flabba's burial took place on Sunday at West Park Cemetery. The artist's last moments are coming to light, as family and friends try to wrap their heads around his death.

According to City Press, Nkululeko Habedi also known as 'Flabba' from the Hip hop group Skwatta Kamp, supposedly got into a fiery quarrel last Sunday at a party.

Tshepang, Flabba's younger brother who lives in the same house as the musician is the one who found his dying brother in the arms of the girlfriend Sindisiwe Manqele, early on March 9.

"I got the shock of my life when I found him on the floor, lying helpless in a pool of blood. Next to him there was a steak knife," he said. Manqele allegedly told Tshepang: "I loved him. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kill him."

The police later told Tshepang that Manqele had tried to slit her wrists with a broken beer bottle, which an eNews report refutes.

26-year-old Manqele was granted bail of R10,000 ($1,000) today.
