{UAH} Yellow decor shocks DP NEC at meeting venue

The Democratic Party National Executive Council (NEC) members were Saturday morning shocked to find their meeting venue decorated yellow, the official NRM colours, instead of the party’s green.

The offending arrangement forced Dr. Gerald Siranda to move a motion that the decor be changed immediately before the meeting kicked off.

The motion was unanimously approved and the staff of Garden Courts in Masaka, where the meeting is taking place, were forced to change the decorations.

The NEC is meeting to lay down the party’s Road Map to the National delegates Conference.

Meanwhile Democratic Party President Norbert Mao denied resigning from the party but said he only took a short leave and would be soon back to assume his duties.

“My leave is about to end and I will be back in the office and assume my full time responsibilities,” Mao said.
