Brother George Okello-this is on a lighter side (Swords in Plowshares). Is it true that there is a clan in Lango called the OYAM clan that is related to Banyankole? I had a talk with a friend and he mentioned that. I just told him that if it is true-maybe some of us could have relatives over there-and they could also have some in Ankole. With the way people have moved and transcended boarders that is a possibility. I was surprised when I left my home for the first time to go to Kabalega Secondary school and found people in Nakasongola and later on Masindi who said they were Banyankole but could not speak Orunyankole-but looked and behaved like them. (Behaved here I mean how they fed their kids and the milk gourds they carried}. Well George, I hope I have not distracted you from serious issues.
