My name is Steve Gaskin, and I work at Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (www.ams-inc.com) in Waltham, MA.  We've been working on market research involving the study of rural immunization challenges in Uganda for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  I've been to Uganda twice for this research and really enjoyed getting to know the land and its people.

 

We have videos of immunization sessions in the Gulu, Bushenyi, Pallisa, and Kampala Districts, as well as Mpigi, and we need some help figuring out what people are saying so that we can put in subtitles.  I've talked to local translation services, and they all think Ugandan languages are way too obscure.

 

I've read, though, that many Ugandans live in our city, Waltham, MA.  Is it possible you could put me in touch with someone there who could help us find some people to work on translations with us?  We will pay them well, of course, and it's nice part time work for the next month or two.
