{UAH} Ocen, Kipenji, Gook//Dead soldier's will bans vigil, hearse, crowds
Folks;
This is my kind of relative! He specified that there should be no tent, no fund-raising and no convoys accompanying his body.
This soldier was aware of the burden that tradition and (adopted) culture impose on families of the dead. Can this happen in Uganda? We seem to be eternally attached to our departed relatives, holding prolonged mourning accompanied by elaborate, even lavish, feasting.
