AFRICANS PRESIDENTS SAVE OUR 'AUTO-CORRECTING MECHANISM'
OF AFRICA.
I must say this as a Pan African in reference to Burundi.
Presidents of Africa don't force people to love you. If they (35% to 40%) say no another term please go; the sound of 35% is audible enough. Because when you force it, even though you bring bread & honey to every individual's table they won't appreciate. Give people breathing space if they need it.
Let people take their society to any direction they want, whether to doom or prosperity; but for anything good you did will be attributed to you. Don't be too defensive, if an alarm is made, ask why, not who? I can not swallow it without chewing it that you commit mistakes not.
A society has an auto-correcting mechanism that it will take its direction automatically despite antagonistic forces. Let give an example of Jesus, he came to save people as it is said though I not concentrated sure. But as time went by he became irrelevant to the society, he was humiliated, nailed on the cross and buried. If I may ask why did the society turn against the saviour & the son of God? Maybe the next corner the society was about to negotiate was anti-Godly & automatically Jesus had to become irrelevant to the society despite healing the sick, resurrecting the dead, walking on water, turning water into wine etc which under normal circumstances you would wish a person doing such things to even oppose one of characteristics of living things (death).However, you shouldn't fear that next people will mess up the society, hitherto people praise Jesus! Who would withstand the way he was humiliated? So African Presidents if people shout go....play it cool go. If you built factories, if you fought ignorance, diseases, bad governance credit will always be given to you, your legacy is what is vital. In the past church was considered the most Holy place, but steal in church, people are refraining from going to church. I was reading in one of the newspapers in Western countries indicating how religion is weakening. What does all this tell you? This indicates how they are fading/ becoming irrelevant!
People enter marriage institution when they are sweethearts, honey, sweet, name them.. But as time go by sweetheart turn into murders, they divorce, imprison themselves. Why? It is simple some get tired, others element of unbearable characters all tantamount into what I mentioned above.
So our presidents you aren't out of orbits of auto-correcting mechanism of the society. We are in a crazy ride that none can know what is going to happen in the next second. Therefore, our good presidents you equally don't know which corner we are yet to negotiate. Will it be anti you or pro you? Save our auto-correcting mechanism of African society.
