Condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the late Mr. Ivan Kyayonka. The country has lost a dedicated public servant who rose through the ranks at Shell Uganda to become the first Ugandan to head Shell in Uganda. That is an achievement given that Mr. Kyayonka was hired by some influential Ugandans then working at Shell. Mr Kyayonka paved the way for Engineer Mugerwa who also rose to become Country chairman Shell Kenya .
Our paths crossed for about 6 months during my brief stint at Shell Uganda.
May his soul RIP.
