Subject: Gen Sejusa and PRU / Free Uganda activism for change
Dear Friends,
This is just to update you on the latest phase of the struggle for
change, which is going on in Uganda, whose main focus is to ensure
that the Ugandan dictator, Yoweri Museveni, is not allowed to hold the
scheduled 2016 elections, as they are without any doubt not going to
be free and fair.
General Sejusa, the National Coordinator of the newly launched
Platform to Rescue Uganda (PRU), also the Chairman of Free Uganda, has
launched a major campaign to galvanise and mobilise all patriotic
forces in the country, including the traditional opposition parties,
plus various progressive elements within the ruling NRM party to work
together with the view to making sure that Mr Museveni is stopped in
his tracks as he attempts to organise the sham and already rigged 2016
elections.
The strategy of the freedom activists is not just to boycott, but to
totally disrupt the sham elections, and ultimately to dismantle the
undemocratic, corrupt and repressive regime of Mr Museveni.
The time for toying about is gone. The time for decisive and focused
anti-regime activism is NOW.

Free Uganda1 May at 13:35 · Edited · General David Sejusa speaks from
the heart with a new message of national reconciliation and renewal.
He calls upon all Ugandans to embrace the struggle for a better
Motherland. Recent CBS Radio Interview Transcribed by the Observer
newspaper. Gen Sejusa has spoken from the depth of his heart. His
message to Ugandans is that let us reflect on our sad and dark past,
to learn some lessons for the future, but the priority now going
forward is for all our citizens to embrace each other in a new spirit
of patriotism that seeks to cleanse the country of the darkness of our
post-independent experience, and instead resolve to build a new
democratic, progressive and peaceful country for us all to enjoy and
for our children to relish in the future.

Uganda30 April at 14:04 · The mobilisation of Ugandans for immediate
change in the political landscape of Uganda is in full swing. The PRU
National Coordinator, who is also Free Uganda Chairman is relentless
in passing the massage of "capacity building to get Museveni out of
the way", so that Ugandans can begin to build a new democratic and
progressive Uganda. Time is not waiting for anyone. We are talking of
a few months, not years. Ugandans cannot continue to act like
compliant slaves to a ruthless master. This revolution is to make the
dictator isolated and weak. and to show that People Power when
properly harnessed can be like an unstoppable whirlwind. A Luta

Uganda29 April at 18:55 · Mr Museveni should not fear to hand over
power NOW voluntarily and peacefully. If he does so, Ugandan people
will leave him to have a rest at Rwakitura. But if he choses to hang
around forcefully with his so-called 'sole candidature' machinations,
then Ugandans are not only going to boycott and disrupt the intended
sham elections, but they will use the constitutional means available
to them to force him out of power - with the resultant adverse
repercussions for him. The People Power Revolt that he will face this
time round will be like no other before. The end result can only be
VICTORY OF TO THE MASSES AND TOTAL LOSS FOR THE DICTATOR.

the People will this time round not allow a sham election to take
